The most important additions:
NormManager:
- In specific cases the following error message appeared when opening original text standards in Acrobat Reader's PDF format: "An error occurred while opening the document. The file cannot be found."
A modified Acrobat file opening process should now stop this message from appearing.
- Update wizard: With complex requests in the standards database on the NormManager Live Server, this error message may appear: "The operation has timed out." Optimizations on the NormManager Live Server should now prevent any more timeouts.
- The Safexpert system administrator can now also update standards, while other users work in Safexpert.
- The "Last Update" date will then also be set to the current date if there are no update dates on the server.
CE Guidelines
- Tab 1 (directives applied) and Tab 2 (standards applied): If "Alternative title" is entered in the company favorites, these will be transferred to the lost of applied directives or applied standards. These texts will then also be used in the printouts (e.g. in the declaration of conformity).
- Tab 3: The texts were shown shortened to some degree in the list of applied standards. The display was extended.
- Some French texts have been corrected.
Note: If the new standard,
EN ISO 14121-1 appears in the Official EU Journal, we will deliver Safexpert 6.0 as quickly as possible. The two new additions included in Service Pack 2 will also be included in Version 6.0. Unforutnately we cannot name any specific date for delivering Safexpert 6.0, as we do not know the date of publication.
