In 2009 Leuze electronic introduced the KRT 3B, the smallest contrast scanner in the industry with exceptional performance. With version KRT 20B, this technology is now available in a larger housing variant.

The KRT 20B are, as is typical for Leuze electronic, manufactured in an extremely robust plastic housing using a special manufacturing process. Mounting points made of stainless steel ensure a secure connection. Four optical systems with outlet on the front and upper-front face, each with lengthwise or horizontal orientation of the light spot, ensure flexibility in mounting. The new KRT 20B is available in two power classes, standard and advanced, with switching frequencies of 6 and 10 kHz, respectively. The user can select from multicolor (RGB light) and monochromatic (white light) transmitter variants. Teaching with ′easy tune′, remote teaching via pin 2, pulse stretching and IO-Link communication are also standard here.
