The MSI-RM2 relay module is suitable for use as a two-channel sequential circuit in safety-related optoelectronic protective devices containing 2 OSSDs. (EMD)

The functioning of the MSI-RM2 is thereby monitored by the contact monitoring function (EDM) of the connected protective device.

Areas of Application

The MSI-RM2 forms the linking element between AOPDs with device monitoring / EDM and components installed further down, such as contactors that have extra power requirements or if needed zero-voltage contacts.
