Function

• Single-channel Emergency Stop wiring with manual start
  If the Emergency Stop button is not pressed, the relays K1 and K2 pickup and lock when the start button is pressed. When the Emergency Stop button is pressed, K1 and K2 go dead and drop out. With single-channel Emergency Stop wiring, Category 2 in accordance with EN 954-1 is attained. Earth faults in the push-button circuit are detected.
  
  
• Single-channel sliding safety grid monitoring with 1 positively opening position switch and automatic start
  If the safety door is closed, the relays K1 and K2 pick up and lock. When the safety grid is opened, the relays go dead and drop out. The MSI-SR1 remains in this state until the safety grid is closed again.
  
  
• Contact multiplication
  So that the function of the external relays can be monitored, the normal closed contacts of these relays are serially connected into the start circuit Y1-Y2.
