Notes
Multiple light beam safety device is an electro-sensitive protecting device (ESPD Type 2) only in connection with a safety-relevant control system where the cyclical testing of transmitter and receiver according to EN-/IEC 61496-1 takes place. Such as the modular interfaces of the MSI family. The external power supply must certain the supply voltage variations and interruptions according to the regulations EN-/IEC 61496-1.

Testing:
In operating mode activating input on the transmitter is set to "highly active" (+ 24 V DC). For the test the input is switched off for a short time 2 V, at least 10 ms).
