Leuze electronic supports cooperation with schools

By means of education partnerships and special topic presentations, Leuze electronic is engaging with the employees of tomorrow.

Owen, March 2nd 2016 - Within the scope of the second annual “Automation and Production Technology Innovation Days” to be held at the technical school in Aalen, Germany, on March 10th, Leuze electronic will be presenting themselves as a leading innovator in optical sensors by hosting a presentation entitled “The Revolution in Sensor Technology – with sensors that master Industry 4.0 today”. Leuze electronic product specialists will be presenting 3D object discrimination, high-precision measurement using smart cameras and the new

RSL 400 safety laser scanner. There will be products you can touch and the opportunity to talk with the Leuze electronic sensor people at a table-top exhibition in the foyer of the technical school. “Close cooperation with students in the form of student trainee programs and internships, with university professors, and people working in R & D facilitate our innovation and make sure that we continue developing” comments HR Business Partner, Benjamin Federle.

Carina Gollmer, the Training Officer at Leuze electronic adds: “With our training partnerships, like the one at the Karl-Erhard-Scheuffelen Realschule in Lenningen, we want to acquaint students with our apprenticeship program and allow them to get to know about the topic of work as early as possible”. Currently, 11 trainees are employed at Leuze electronic. We train for the following occupations: Electrical engineers for devices and systems, industrial management assistant for international business management, as well as studies at the “Duale Hochschule” (cooperative state university) for computer science/electrical technology, and international business.
