Leuze electronic nominated for the German Brand Award for a second time

After winning the German Brand Award 2017 in the "Connectivity" category, Leuze electronic has this year once again been nominated for the German Brand Award 2018 by the independent committees of the German Design Council and German Brand Institute.

German Brand Awward nominee

Owen, 9 February 2018 – For the second time in a row, the optical sensor manufacturer Leuze electronic has been nominated for the German Brand Award 2018 by the independent committees of the German Design Council and German Brand Institute. With "Smart Sensor Business", Leuze electronic last year already proved that for the company this is more than just a well-sounding advertising slogan. It is the basis for its communication and a concrete, rational promise to its customers, defined within the framework of a corporate strategy. Founded on sound self-evaluation and customer assessment of the company's strengths – just as "the sensor people" itself arose as an emotional claim: Leuze electronic – the sensor people. "These two levels form the cornerstones of Leuze electronic's corporate DNA and are lived by over 1200 sensor people worldwide", says CEO Ulrich Balbach. The company accepts its renewed nomination for the German Brand Award and, for a second time, will contend for the cross-sector award, which judges and rewards criteria such as innovativeness and consistent and sustained brand communication. Since taking gold last year, Leuze electronic has worked further on its communication, reduced the complexity of its messages and formulated simple, clearly understandable customer benefits to tell the market what Leuze electronic and the sensor people are all about and what they stand for – for the Smart Sensor Business of Leuze electronic.
