The Italian affiliate headquartered in Milan is currently expanding its sales organization to develop a rapidly growing market and accelerate revenue in the area of Bologna.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Area Sales Manager grows the sales of the Leuze products within his/her assigned territory. The ASM develops a close relationship with Machine Builders, System Integrators and End-Users to grow business and find new ones whilst supporting the distribution channels.
This position requires technical aptitude, sales know-how and very good interpersonal skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute a sales business plan for the assigned area/territory
  • Find new customers and constantly expand the business
  • Utilize a consultative sale approach presenting product features and benefits
  • Provide market and competitor information to Product Management
  • Attend trade shows when required
  • Interact with the service structure to support customers
  • Be aware of all competitive activities within major accounts
  • Document all sales activities in CRM

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Electrical engineering or related engineering studies (Diploma/Laurea)
  • At least a few years of relevant sales experience
  • “Experience in packaging sector”
  • Good presentation skills and a proactive attitude
  • Ability of diplomacy, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • MS-Office and CRM/Opportunity Management required
  • Valid driving license required

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Italian mother tongue, English (conversational level of proficiency)
