First class technology in the new design

The chemically nickel-plated metal housing of this optical fork photoelectric sensor is ideal for applications in the foodstuffs sector where it is critical that no paint chipping occurs. The flat fork enables installation in a groove directly at the dispensing edge to achieve – together with the short response time – a high dispensing accuracy. With a 3 mm mouth width and 60 mm mouth depth, the sensor is also very well suited for wide labels.

  • High switching frequency and short response time guarantee very good repeatability
  • Easy adjustment via lockable teach button or teach input
  • Slimline-design (reduced fork height) for installation directly at the dispensing edge
  • ALC (auto level control) function: maximum function reserve via automatic online optimization of the switching threshold
  • Warning output for indicating teach or function errors

2-in-1 fork sensor – the first of its kind

The GSX14E fork sensor is the world's first sensor of its kind and combines the two detection methods of ultrasonics and light in a single housing. It thus merges the advantages of the two methods and reliably, quickly, and position-accurately detects all types of labels, regardless of their material and characteristics. With the intelligent easyTeach (press button, dispense labels, done) including automatic selection of the right detection principle, static teaching without loss of labels, ALC function for automatic readjustment of the switching threshold, IO-Link interface and practical accessories, this fork sensor is always the first choice for universal label detection. And, with its large mouth width, it is also ideal for booklet and leaflet labels.

  • Reliable detection of foil labels on foil carriers, foil labels on paper carriers, paper labels on paper carriers, metallic foil labels and thin metal foils. Even labels made of inhomogeneous cavitated BOPP material can be detected with absolute certainty through the optical detection principle.
  • Intelligent easyTeach function: press button - dispense labels - done. The fork sensor selects the right detection principle on its own.
  • Manual selection and change of the active detection principle possible
  • ALC function (auto level control): maximum function reserve via automatic readjustment of the switching threshold
  • Simple configuration through teach-in at the touch of a button, through a cable or IO-Link
  • easyTune function for the manual optimization of the switching threshold
  • Protection against manipulation by means of lockable buttons
  • Recipe management via IO-Link
  • Versions with an M12 connector, horizontal or vertical
