Robust version for industrial use
IT 2100 and IT 2105 industrial hand-held scanners
Improved housing materials and imager for the IT 2100 industrial hand-held scanner series expand application options
For demanding industrial environments, e.g. in assembly processes, robust housing is required to protect mobile code readers against dirt and drops. Large reading fields cover a wide range of applications. The advanced IT 2100 series from Leuze with improved, more ergonomic housing and higher optics protection optimally meets these requirements. It particularly stands out for its very high IP 68 protection class (scanner), large drop heights of 3 m and a very wide temperature range down to -30°C. With up to 45% faster decoding and a higher protection class, it will replace the tried-and-tested IT 1990 series robust hand-held scanners. To make the transition as easy as possible, proven features have been retained while implementing comprehensive improvements – including cable variety, power supply connection, configuration options and mounting holes.
A particularly noteworthy feature of the new devices is their large reading field, which allows objects and papers stored at standard intervals to be easily captured using just one optic. The new base station (wireless version) now complies with protection class IP 65 thanks to an additional O-ring and plug. When used in vibrating environments, e.g. on a forklift truck, the new base station offers additional fastenings to prevent the mobile scanner from falling out. The devices are available in wired or wireless (battery) versions for different applications. To make ordering easier, sets are also available in addition to the individual components.
