Overview
New range of tower lights for industrial signaling
With their bright and homogeneous illumination, the new tower lights of the TL 305 series in robust aluminum housing enable extremely reliable signaling. They are preassembled with 3, 4 or 5 segments. The TL 305-IOL models with IO-Link interface have different operating modes offering high flexibility and an almost unlimited selection of colors. Thanks to the three external trigger inputs, the tower lights with 8 preset color and light configurations can be used immediately. The TL 305 tower lights with predefined color assignment are easy to install: Each segment can be actuated individually by means of digital inputs. All tower lights are available with optional acoustic signaler.

High signaling effect
The tower lights of the TL 305 series are characterized by an extremely high signaling effect compared to similar products on the market. The individual segments light up very brightly, uniformly and fully and are clearly visible from all directions even from a great distance.
The right solution for every application
The new range of tower lights includes solutions for many different applications. The preconfigured lights are available with 3 to 5 segments and with or without an acoustic signaler. The TL 305 models with their permanently defined colors can be used immediately. Each segment can be actuated separately via a digital input. The TL 305-IOL tower lights with IO-Link interface, individually controllable segments and different operating modes offer greater flexibility. All models feature an aluminum housing with robust and high-quality design.
Tower lights with IO-Link: individual configuration and control
The new TL 305-IOL tower lights can be configured and controlled easily via the IO-Link interface. It is also possible to configure individual functions during operation.
Different operating modes are available:
- In Segment Mode, the individual segments can be actuated individually via IO-Link. Color, intensity and lighting sequences can be configured individually.
- Level Mode is used to visualize fill levels (bottom-top; top-bottom; wandering or cumulative). The color of both the background (inactive segment) and the fill level indicator (active segment) can be configured.
- In External Trigger Mode, eight predetermined or user-defined configurations for colors and signal images can be actuated via the three external trigger inputs even without IO-Link connection. The tower lights are therefore ready for use immediately.
Application
Access control for systems and conveyor belts
Requirement:
Machine areas or conveyor belt sections are equipped with doors to allow maintenance and cleaning work. During operation, the doors must remain closed and must be monitored for safety reasons.
Solution:
TL 305 tower lights in combination with an RD 800 safety proximity sensor monitor opening of the doors. If a door is opened, a visual and/or acoustic warning is output.
Visualization of logistics and dispatch processes
Requirement:
Parcels are sorted in a dispatch facility. When a conveyor belt section is almost completely full with boxes, boxes must be removed to prevent disruption along the process sequence.
Solution:
The TL 305 tower lights visualize the occupancy status of the conveyor belt. The bright and clearly visible 360° lights ensure smooth-running processes. To mount the lights at the desired height, multiple extension tubes can be screwed together.
Process monitoring at machines and systems
Requirement:
The operating state of a machine tool is to be monitored. If there are queued maintenance tasks or impending problems at the system, the machine operator must be able to react quickly.
Solution:
The individually configurable TL 305-IOL tower lights can be parameterized extremely flexibly via the IO-Link interface. The machine state can be signaled individually by means of different brightnesses, lighting sequences, colors or types of signal sound.

Accessories for wall and stand mounting
The TL 305 tower lights are easy to install (M30 screw fitting, M12 connector). Matching accessories simplify installation:
