Hand-held scanners in especially robust design for reading directly marked codes (engraved, dot-peened and laser-etched) are very well suited for use in rough or contamination-susceptible industrial environments or in rooms with temperatures between -20°C and +50°C (wireless) or -30°C and +50°C (cable-connected). Though their high degree of protection, the devices are especially well protected against contamination and against impacts and falls. Connection possibilities to fieldbuses and industrial Ethernet by means of optional MA 200 connection unit. Time-saving and simple configuration of the devices possible by means of configuration codes or software.
