  1. Documents
    Please upload your complete application documentation using our application portal. This includes: cover letter, resume, reports (schooling / study course) as well as employer references, certificates/attestations.
    The following file formats can be uploaded: pdf, jpg, doc, docx, rtf, txt, odt. The maximum size per file is 10 MB.

  2. Receipt of application
    After submitting your documentation via our application portal, you automatically receive confirmation of receipt via e-mail. If you do not receive this, something did not function properly. In this case, we ask that you contact us.

  3. Acknowledgment
    Once we have received your documentation, it will be reviewed by the Human Resources Department and the respective specialist department and a decision made regarding the subsequent course of the application process. If applicable, we also consider other areas and positions that may come into question. As a result, it may sometimes take a bit more time before you receive a response. We apologize for this, but we make every effort to provide you with a response as quickly as possible.

  4. Interview
    If your competencies and experiences detailed in your application materials are a good match for the posted position, we would like to get know you better. This generally occurs during an interview, but may also take place over the telephone depending on the position. In any case, we will arrange a meeting with you and will look forward to a good conversation. The objective here is to get to know one another. It also offers you as well as us the opportunity to ask questions about the application, the position and the company. Depending on the job, a second interview may take place during which any open questions can be clarified.

  5. Result
    A decision is made following the interviews. If we impressed you and you impressed us, you will receive a concrete job offer with contract documents. We will then look forward to you becoming one of the Sensor People and to working together!

  • How long can I apply for posted positions?
    The position is open as long as the job is posted on our website. We conduct the application process very carefully, which is why it may take several weeks. We only decide on an applicant if we think it is a perfect match for both sides.
  • Can I apply for more than one open position?
    You can apply for multiple positions at the same time. To do this, please apply for your preferred position and the one for which you are most suited.  In your cover letter, please also indicate the other position(s) that you would like to apply for as alternatives.
  • Who is my contact person and to whom should I address my cover letter?
    You can always find the name and telephone number of your contact person in the respective job posting.
  • When is an application sensible?
    When applying for a position, you should generally aim to meet approximately 3/4 of the requirements listed in the job posting with your competencies and experiences.
  • How does Leuze handle my data? A note on data privacy
    With the submission of your application, you consent to the electronic processing and storage of your data and documents by Leuze. The regulations and procedures specified by the EU-GDPR and the data privacy information from Leuze apply. You accept it with the submission of your application. You thereby grant us your consent – until revoked – to allow your data and documents to remain in the pool of applicants at Leuze so that we may provide you with unsolicited job offers in the future should the occasion arise.
