When you access our Internet sites, our web servers automatically collect general information. This includes the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of the Internet service provider, the IP address of the computer used, the website you are visiting us from, the pages you visit on our site and the date and duration of the visit.
We cannot use this data to identify individual users. We merely statistically evaluate the information and use it exclusively to improve the attractiveness, content and functionality of our websites.
The Term "Personal Data"
The term "personal data" is defined in the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (Federal Data Protection Act). According to this definition, personal data includes individual details regarding the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable person. This therefore includes, for example, your legal name, your address, your telephone number and your date of birth.
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) defines "personal data" as follows:
All information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter "data subject"); a natural person is regarded as identifiable if he or she can be identified directly or indirectly, especially by assigning him or her to an identifying feature such as a name, an ID number, location data, an online ID or one or more special characteristics which are an expression of this natural person's physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity.
Legal basis for the collection and processing of personal data
If we obtain your consent for the processing of your personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 a GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing of your personal data.
If we are processing your data to fulfill a contract between you and Leuze electronic, Art. 6 para. 1 b GDPR serves as the legal basis for this processing. This also applies to processing which is required for the execution of precontractual measures.
If processing of personal data is required to fulfill a legal obligation which our company is subject to, Art. 6 para. 1 c GDPR serves as the legal basis for this processing.
If the processing is required to protect a legitimate interest on the part of our company or a third party and the data subject's interests, basic rights and basic freedoms do not outweigh the aforementioned interest, Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR serves as the legal basis for this processing.
Deletion of data and storage period
The data subject's personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the storage lapses. Storage may go beyond this if this has been prescribed by European or national legislation in EU regulations, laws or other requirements which the responsible party is subject to. Data will also be blocked or deleted when a storage period prescribed by the above standards expires, unless it is necessary to continue storing the data in order to conclude or fulfill a contract.
Collection and processing of personal data
Personal data will only be collected if you submit them yourself, for example for the fulfillment of an order, a survey, a competition or registration for personalized services. There you will be informed of the intended purpose of the processing and if necessary asked to give your consent to the storage of the data.
Unless you give your consent, the personal data collected by our website will only be used to process your orders or requests, and may be forwarded to the responsible group company for this purpose. Your data will only be used beyond this in a centrally maintained customer and prospect database administered by Leuze electronic GmbH and merged within the Leuze group of companies if you give your consent. The use of this data is restricted to the purposes of advertising and market and opinion research. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

This website uses Google Analytics. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will evaluate your use of the website to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and Internet usage to the website operator.
Since the consultation between Google and the Hamburg officer for data protection and freedom of information on the basis of the resolution taken by the Düsseldorf Working Group on Data Protection-Compliant Design of Analysis Procedures and Range Measurement for Internet Offerings, it has been possible to use Google Analytics in accordance with data protection regulations and free from complaints under particular conditions. We, of course, comply with these requirements. In particular, we would like to point out that on this website Google Analytics has been extended by the code "gat._anonymizeIp();" to ensure that IP addresses are collected anonymously (so-called IP masking). Google will shorten your IP address beforehand within European Union Member States or other signatories to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. The IP address provided by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. Integration of the Trusted Shops Trustbadge
We have integrated the Trusted Shops Trustbadge into this website in order to show our Trusted Shops seal of approval and any reviews collected, as well as to offer Trusted Shops products to shoppers after they make an order.
This serves to protect our legitimate interest, which takes precedence in the event of a balancing of interests, in optimally marketing our offering. The Trustbadge and the services it advertises are an offering from Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne, Germany.
When calling up the Trustbadge, the web server automatically stores a so-called server log file containing e.g. your IP address, the data and time of the request, the quantity of data transmitted and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the request. This access data is not evaluated and is automatically overwritten seven days at the latest after your site visit comes to an end.
Further personal data will only be transmitted to Trusted Shops if you decide to use Trusted Shops products after completing an order or have already registered for use. In such a case, the contractual agreement made between you and Trusted Shops will apply.
Marketing emails will be sent with the professional mailing software Mailingwork, server location Germany. The emails contain a so-called tracking pixel. This is a miniature graphic integrated into HTML mailings in order to facilitate recording and analysis of log files. Leuze electronic GmbH & Co.KG can use the embedded tracking pixel to identify whether and when an email was opened. We use link tracking – technically worked out by forwarding via the email dispatch server – to evaluate which links are called up when. We use this to create a personal user profile.
The personal data collected via newsletter tracking is stored by the party responsible for the processing and evaluated to optimize dispatch of email and to adapt the content of future mailings even better to data subjects' interests. The personal data collected is not passed on to third parties. Data subjects are entitled to withdraw the separate declaration of consent given for this purpose – via the double opt-in procedure – at any time.
Following withdrawal, the party responsible for the processing will delete the personal data and assign the record a no-profiling label for future mailings. If you unsubscribe from the newsletter, Leuze electronic GmbH & Co. KG automatically interprets this as withdrawal.
Our website uses the counting pixel technology from wiredminds GmbH (www.wiredminds.de) to analyze visitor behavior.

Social bookmarks are Internet bookmarks which allow users of such a service to collect links and news items. These are only integrated into our website as links to the relevant services. After clicking on the integrated graphic, you will be forwarded to the relevant provider's site, i.e. only then will user information be transferred to the relevant provider. Please find information on how your personal data is handled when you use these websites in the providers' respective data protection regulations.
