Load receptacle end position detection

Requirement:
For work with forklift trucks or vehicles with movable load receptacles, the end position of the fork or telescope, for example, must be detected in order to stop a lifting movement and enable a driving movement.

Solution:
The IS D series’ inductive sensors reliably detect the end position of the metal lifting arm. Depending on the required switching distance and assembly, quasi-embedded and non-embedded variants are available – e.g. the embedded IS D12MM/4NO-4E0 achieves a switching distance of up to 4 mm.

Dancer roll position detection

Requirement:
For self-adhesive labelers, the belt tension or a carrier tape breakage must be detected with the aid of a pre-tensioned free (dancer) roll. The position must be adjustable using different label materials.

Solution:
Inductive sensors detect the metal base of the roller – for example in the event of a tear in the carrier tape – and then emit a corresponding signal so that the defect can be rectified. The IS D series’ compact design with bending protection (e.g. IS D08MM/4NO) is a very suitable solution for this application.
