All stainless steel sensors
Wide range of inductive sensors in stainless steel
All-stainless-steel sensors are used wherever the highest standards of robustness, hygiene and durability are required. Thanks to their tough housing, they are particularly well suited to demanding applications in the food, pharmaceutical and packaging industries. At the same time, they offer a high level of process reliability and a long service life, even in harsh environmental conditions.
The inductive stainless steel sensors with a PPS front or in an all-stainless-steel version are ideal for use in food production and are ECOLAB-certified. They are available in cylindrical designs from M8 to M30 and are available with NC, NO or antivalent outputs in both embedded and non-embedded versions.
These inductive sensors thus offer a particularly cost-effective yet robust solution for demanding applications.
Advantages for you
- Stainless steel with PPS
- Washdown (15 mins at 100°C), temperature range from -40°C to +80°C
- Highly robust against moisture, dust (IP68/IP69K), corrosive liquids and vibration
- Antivalent types mean fewer variants are required
- Excellent value for money
Highlights
For a wide range of applications, versions with a stainless steel sleeve and a PPS front offer attractive solutions for tackling demanding metal detection tasks. The portfolio includes cylindrical designs from M8 to M30.
This offers users a number of benefits: Depending on the application requirements, besides all-stainless-steel versions, there are now also cost-effective variants available with a stainless-steel sleeve and a PPS front – both made from AISI 316L and therefore suitable for use in the food and beverage industry.
Advantages of the stainless steel sleeve:
- Mechanical durability: The one-piece stainless steel sleeve makes the sensor resistant to heavy impacts, shocks and vibrations, which is particularly important in areas subject to high mechanical stress.
- Enhanced protection: The sleeve protects the sensor from moisture and corrosive liquids such as cleaning agents, ensuring that it functions reliably even in dirty or damp environments.
- Wide temperature range from -40 to +80°C , up to 100°C for short periods
Advantages of the all-stainless-steel version:
- Hygiene: In the food and beverage industry or in the medical field, stainless steel is also hygienic and easy to clean. In some cases, this requirement can already be met by using a stainless steel sleeve.
- High pressure resistance up to 100 bar (depending on type) thanks to a robust stainless steel front
- Use with different materials in demanding environments: Sensors in stainless steel sleeves are suitable for heavy-duty use in metal processing, welding or the chemical industry.
